• Account information: information received through users.life sign-in, such as your user identifier, name, email address, and profile details needed to create or access your Rikaz account.
• Portfolio and asset information: gold and silver asset names, metal type, purity, weight, purchase date, purchase price, making cost, origin, serial number, notes, asset photos, and certificate images that you choose to add.
• Transaction information: buy and sale records, dates, amounts, fees, asset references, and realized or unrealized performance values calculated by the service.
• Zakat and settings information: hawl dates, zakat preferences, language preference, and other settings you choose in the app.
• Technical information: IP address, device type, browser or app information, operating system, request logs, diagnostics, security events, and approximate region inferred from network data.

4. Authentication Through users.life

Rikaz uses users.life as an authentication provider. When you sign in or create an account, you may be redirected to users.life. users.life handles the sign-in process and may process information under its own terms and privacy policy. Rikaz receives the information required to identify your account and open your Rikaz portfolio.

Rikaz does not store your users.life password. Authentication tokens are used to keep you signed in and protect access to your account.

5. Photos, Certificates, and Uploaded Files

If you upload asset photos, certificate images, or related files, Rikaz stores those files so they can be shown with your asset records. Only upload files that you have the right to store and use. Avoid uploading unnecessary personal information inside images or notes.

6. Market Rates and Financial Information

Rikaz may show indicative gold and silver rates and calculated portfolio values. These values are provided for recordkeeping and informational purposes only. Rikaz does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or religious advice. You are responsible for verifying values and decisions with qualified professionals where needed.

7. Sharing of Information

Rikaz does not sell your personal information. We may share information only in limited cases:

• with users.life for authentication and account access;
• with hosting, storage, security, analytics, or support providers that help operate Rikaz;
• when required by law, court order, regulation, or a valid government request;
• to protect Rikaz, users, or the public from fraud, abuse, security threats, or harm;
• as part of a business transfer, merger, acquisition, or reorganization, subject to appropriate protections.

8. Advertising and Tracking

Rikaz does not use your portfolio, asset, transaction, or uploaded certificate information for advertising. Rikaz does not sell data to advertisers. If analytics or diagnostics are used, they are used to understand reliability, usage, and errors, not to expose your private portfolio details.

9. Data Storage, Security, and Retention

Rikaz uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including HTTPS transport, access controls, authentication tokens, and server-side protections. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

We keep account and portfolio information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain backups. Backup copies may remain for a limited period after deletion before being overwritten.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete certain personal information. You can update many records inside Rikaz. For requests that cannot be completed in the app, contact us using the details below.

11. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Rikaz account and portfolio data by contacting us at privacy@rikaz.me. Please include the email address or users.life account identifier associated with your Rikaz account so we can verify and process the request.

Deleting your Rikaz account removes Rikaz portfolio records that are no longer required for legal, security, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes. If you also want to delete your users.life account, you may need to request deletion directly from users.life because it is a separate authentication provider.

12. Children

Rikaz is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to Rikaz, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

13. International Use

Rikaz may process and store information in countries other than your country of residence. By using Rikaz, you understand that information may be transferred and processed where Rikaz or its service providers operate, subject to applicable law.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the website, app, or other appropriate means. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated.
